델 서버 디스크 교체(Procedure to replace faulty HDD with New HDD)

델 서버 관리자에서 모니터링 시 디스크 상태가 foreign​ 상태이고, 레이드 그룹에서 해당 디스크가 제외 된 것을 확인 했습니다.

When monitoring in the Dell Server Administrator, the disk status was foreign and I confirmed that the disk was excluded from the RAID group.

위 사진을 보면, 1번 디스크와 3번디스크가 이상이 있음을 알 수 있습니다.

In the above picture, it can be seen that the disk 1 and the disk 3 are failed

기존 디스크는 2.5인치 1T SAS 이며, 동일한 신규 디스크를 준비 합니다.

The old disk is a 2.5-inch 1T SAS and has the same new disk.

먼저, 1번디스크를 붉은색 네모 버튼을 눌러 제외 합니다.

First, disc no. 1 is pressed by pressing the red squares button.

신규디스크를 삽입 합니다. 이때, 케이스를 명확히 닫고 녹색 LED가 점등 되어야 정상 입니다.

Insert a new disc. At this time, it is normal that the case is clearly closed and the green LED is turned on.

1번 디스크를 제거 했을 때 Server Administrator에서 제외된 화면 입니다.

This is the screen that is excluded from Server Administrator when Disk 1 is removed.

신규 디스크가 정상 확인 되면, 위 그림처럼 디스크 상태가 Rebuiliding 으로 표시 됩니다.

If the new disk is OK, the status of the disk is displayed as Rebuilding.

2개 디스크를 모두 교체 완료 후, Server Administrator 에서 Rebuilding 하고 있는 모습입니다.

Rebuilding 은 시간이 소요되며, 다음날 다시 확인 해 상태가 Online 인지 확인 합니다.

After replacing both disks, Disks rebuilding in Server Administrator.

Rebuilding takes time and will check again the next day to see if the status is Online.
